Qualification &Years of Experience : M.Tech / B.Tech ECE with 2 – 4 Years Experience

Job Description : System Design of Set-Top box(STB)

Specification :

1. At least one complete product development experience preferably Set-top box hardware
2. Micro processor based board design, simulation, test and validation of digital and mixed signals designs (Digital circuits, Audio / Video circuits )
3. Audio / Video decoding technologies like MPEG2/MPEG4, Serial, USB and ethernet interface designs,
4. Experience in schematic generation, circuit analysis, validation of hardware and system level designs.
5. In-depth knowledge of hardware design & analysis tools and layout techniques for analogue and high-speed circuits and design for manufacturability practices.
6. Evolving performance requirements and their implications to product complexity and cost.
7. Interface with external / internal design teams for design reviews.

Responsibilities : Hardware engineer responsible for Set-top box hardware design, testing and documentation Undertake schematic generation, circuit analysis, validation of hardware and system level designs utilising the Company specified hardware design tools.Create Hardware and system level designs, which conform to the product requirements and customer specifications.

Project Description : Development of Cable / Satelite Set-top box using the reference design.

Tentative career Path after present project : Senior Design Engineer.

Job Description : Design and development for System software for SET TOP BOX development

Specification : 1. Embedded system engineer with deep knowledge on Cable/Satellite Set-Top-Box architecture
2. Candidate should have software development experience on any RTOS platform, C/C++, Java programming languages and embedded applications
3. Must have experience in multimedia product development with implementation of
Protocol stacks, Audio Codecs, Video Codecs including H.264 / MPEG4 AVC Standard, Middleware, Interactive Multimedia application standards like MHEG-5, Copy prevention technology like Macrovision, over the air programming
4. Test plan creation and testing

Responsibilities :
1. Design, development of Cable / Satellite Set-top box prototypes
Project Description : Development of Cable / Video Set-top box using the reference platform. Port and validate the software on target platform.

Tentative career Path after present project : Project Lead for Multimedia software development
